A purchase not showing up, a city pack that won't download, a mistake in a translation? Send us your questions, bug reports and ideas; we read every message and usually reply within 1–2 business days.

Try these first
- Close the app completely and open it again.
- Check the App Store for an update; a new version may already fix the problem.
- Check your internet connection. Downloaded city packs and saved plans open offline; sign-in, purchases, downloading content and creating a new trip plan need a connection.
- Make sure you signed in the same way as before: if you used Apple, sign in with Apple again; if you used Google, use Google.
If a purchase or your progress seems to be missing, don't delete the app. Write to us first; your account and records may still be there.
Include in your email
- Your device model and iOS version.
- Your WaySay version (shown under "Version History" on the app's App Store page).
- How you signed in (Apple or Google) and your account's email address.
- Which city or screen it happened on, what you expected and what happened.
- For purchase issues, the order ID from Apple's receipt.
- A screenshot, if you have one.
Never send passwords, ID documents or card details; we don't need them for any request.
FAQ
What is WaySay?
A travel companion: day-by-day personal trip plans, practical city-specific phrase cards, cultural tips and emergency information in one app. It covers 100 cities in 10 countries, with 125 phrase cards prepared for each city.
Why do I need to sign in?
Your progress, favourites, purchased packs and trip plans are stored with your account, so they all come back when you change phones or reinstall. You sign in with your Apple or Google account; there's no separate password to create.
Which languages are supported?
Card translations and the app are available in 10 languages: English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Arabic. Change it in Profile > Language. If a card's translation isn't ready yet, the English version is shown; cultural notes may stay in English in some languages.
How do phrase cards work?
Open a city and pick a category (for example Restaurants & Ordering). Each card shows the local phrase, how to say it and its meaning in your language. Tap the speaker to hear the pronunciation, the heart to save it to favourites, and the info icon to flip the card for its cultural note. Tap Learned to move on, or Show again to see the card later.
Where are my favourites?
The heart icon in the bottom bar (Saved). Favourites are grouped by country and city, and you can filter them by category.
How do I create a trip plan?
Tap Plan your trip on the home screen. Choose up to 3 cities, the number of days, your interests, who you're travelling with and, if you like, event preferences and dates; add wishes like "vegan restaurants" or "no long walks". WaySay builds a day-by-day plan with suggested places and times for mornings, afternoons and evenings.
Creating a plan needs an internet connection; you can open saved plans offline later. A plan is created with a one-time Trip Planner purchase or with the monthly plan allowance included in Premium.
Something in my trip plan was wrong.
Plans are generated with AI and can contain mistakes, such as a closed venue or changed opening hours. Check with official sources before booking. If you send us the wrong suggestion, we'll use it to improve planning.
How do I use WaySay offline?
On a city's page, download the city pack from the Offline Ready card. Once it finishes, phrase cards, cultural tips and emergency information open without internet. You can see and remove downloads in Profile > Downloads. Offline downloads are included with Premium or with that city's purchased pack.
How do emergency numbers and the consulate lookup work?
The Emergency Numbers screen in a city pack lists numbers such as police, ambulance, fire brigade and tourist helpline; tap a number to call it. In Find Consulate Number, choose your citizenship country and tap the button to look up the most suitable consulate number. Numbers can change; in a real emergency, call the official emergency number of the country you are in.
What can I buy?
- City Unlock: all content for one city, one-time.
- Country Pass: all cities in one country, one-time.
- Lifetime Unlock: all countries and cities, one-time.
- Trip Planner: one personal trip plan, one-time.
- WaySay Premium (monthly / yearly): all content included in Premium, offline city packs and a trip plan allowance every month; renews automatically.
Current prices are shown in the app and on the App Store payment sheet before you buy.
My purchase isn't showing.
- Make sure your iPhone is signed in with the Apple Account you bought with, and that you signed in to WaySay the same way (Apple or Google) as before.
- Tap Profile > Purchases > Restore Purchases.
- If it still doesn't appear, write to us with the order ID from your receipt.
How do I cancel Premium?
On iPhone: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > WaySay Premium > Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep Premium until then. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
I'd like a refund.
Apple takes the payment, so Apple handles refunds: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I got a new phone. Will my data come back?
Yes. Install WaySay and sign in the same way you did on your old phone (Apple or Google); your progress, favourites, packs and plans come back. Downloaded city packs need to be downloaded again on the new device.
Are there ads in the app?
No. WaySay shows no ads and does not track you.
I found a translation mistake, or I'd like to suggest a city.
We'd love that. Send the city, category and card (or a screenshot) to hello@waysay.app.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Profile > Delete Account. Your account, progress, favourites, plans and purchase records are permanently deleted. If you can't access the app, follow the steps on the Account & Data Deletion page.
