INCH UP
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Here we explain what information is used when you play Inch Up, why it's used, and how you can control it.
In short
- We never ask for an email or password. When you open the game, an automatic, nameless player account is created for you.
- The only things shown in rankings are the nickname and avatar you pick, and your distances.
- Your progress (best distance, drops, marbles and inks) is backed up to the cloud, so it comes back when you change phones.
- You choose the ads: rewarded videos play only when you tap "Watch".
- You can delete your account and all your data at any time.
1. Scope and contact
This policy covers the Inch Up mobile game (iOS and Android), developed by Erkan Giris under the Sweet Day Studios brand, and the Inch Up pages on sweetdaystudios.com. Erkan Giris is the data controller for the processing of personal data.
For privacy questions and data requests: support@sweetdaystudios.com.
2. Information we use
Your player account
The first time you open the game, an anonymous player account with a random user ID is created for you on Google Firebase. On iPhone and iPad, if you're signed in to Game Center, this account is linked to your Game Center player ID, so you get the same account back when you reinstall or move to a new device. To do this, Game Center verification data signed by Apple (player ID, signature, timestamp) is sent to Firebase. We don't see your name, email or Apple account details. On Android the account is currently tied to that device only.
Your profile and ranking information
The nickname and avatar you pick to appear in rankings, the 6-character friend code you're given, your best distance, daily best distances, number of runs, total and average distance, days played, streaks, the last day you played, and the badges you've earned. This information is shown to other players on ranking and profile screens.
Friends and groups
Your friend list, friend requests you've sent and received, players you've blocked, and group invites; the group you belong to and its name, emblem, code and members. A group's name and member list are visible to anyone who views the group.
Reports
If you report a player or group, the reporter's ID, the reported player or group, and the reason are stored. These are used only to review inappropriate names and profiles.
Your game save
Your best distance, drop balance, the marbles and inks you own and have equipped, your magnet and hourglass counts, purchases such as No Ads and the Starter Pack, and whether you've finished the tutorial. This save is stored on your device and backed up to Firebase. Sound, music, vibration and language preferences stay on your device only.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, your device's push token is stored. We use it only when someone sends you a friend request, when someone invites you to their group, and when a friend beats your best distance. Best-distance notifications aren't sent between 23:00 and 09:00 Turkey time and are limited to 3 a day. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.
Game Center leaderboards (iOS)
If Game Center is on, your daily and all-time distances are submitted to Apple's Game Center leaderboards. Apple processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Purchases
Payment is made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see payment details such as your card number or address. The store only sends us the product and transaction IDs, used to deliver each purchase exactly once.
Device and connection information
When the game connects to our servers, Google's infrastructure may process your IP address, device and operating system type, and app version as technical logs, to run the service and prevent abuse.
Your support messages
If you email us, we process your email address, your message, any screenshots you attach and any device or game details you share.
The game doesn't access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location. When you share an invite, your phone's own share sheet opens; we don't see who you send it to.
3. Why we use information
- To run the game, keep your progress and bring it back when you change devices.
- To provide friends, groups, rankings and profiles.
- To send the notifications you've allowed.
- To deliver what you buy and prevent the same purchase from counting twice.
- To show the rewarded ads you choose to watch and give the reward.
- To block inappropriate names and profiles, review reports, and prevent cheating and abuse.
- To answer support questions, handle privacy requests and meet legal obligations.
Depending on the activity, data is processed on the legal basis of providing the service (performance of a contract), legitimate interest, legal obligation or, where required, your consent. Where consent is needed (notifications, personalized ads in Europe) we ask for it separately.
We don't sell your data, and we don't combine game data with data from other sources.
4. Service providers and sharing
Some features of the game work with the services below. They may process data on their own servers, including outside Turkey; such transfers follow the service's commitments and applicable law (KVKK, GDPR). We don't share data with anyone else, except with authorities where legally required.
Google Firebase · Player account, rankings, friends, cloud save
The anonymous account, Game Center link, profile, friends, groups, rankings, game save and push tokens are kept in Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions). The database and server functions run in data centers in the European Union.
Apple Game Center and Apple Push Notification service · iOS
Game Center sign-in and leaderboards, and notifications to iPhone and iPad, use Apple's services.
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging · Android notifications
On Android, notifications are delivered through Google's service.
Google AdMob · Rewarded ads
Shows a video only when you tap "Watch an ad" for a reward (for example, to continue from your last camp). Google may process your IP address, approximate location, device information, app identifiers and ad interactions to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, a consent window is shown before ads. If you've bought No Ads, no ads are shown.
Apple App Store and Google Play · Purchases
The store handles payment, billing and refunds for in-app purchases. Your payment details stay with the store; we receive the product and transaction IDs.
5. What other players see
Your nickname, avatar, friend code, distances, stats, badges and group are visible to other players. Your friend list and blocked players are visible only to you. A player you block can't send you requests. We recommend not using your real name or personal details in your nickname.
6. How long we keep data
- Your account, profile and game save are kept while your account exists.
- When you delete your account, they're permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Reports are kept for up to 12 months after review.
- Support emails are kept until your request is resolved, then deleted.
- Information we're legally required to keep is kept only for that period.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of Turkey's KVKK and the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, ask for it to be corrected, deleted or ported, and object to its processing.
- You can change your nickname and avatar any time on your profile screen.
- You can delete your account and all your data inside the game: Settings > Support > Delete my account. Details: Account & Data Deletion.
- For other requests, email support@sweetdaystudios.com; we'll reply within 30 days.
You also have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or, in Europe, to the data protection authority of your country.
8. Children
Inch Up is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn of such an account, we delete it; you can also write to us about it.
9. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Database rules let each player change only their own data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
10. Website
This website uses Google Analytics only with your permission to understand product visits and store-link clicks. You can change your choice in Cookie settings. See Website privacy & cookies for website-specific information; the app policy above remains separate.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. If there's an important change, we'll announce it in the game or on this page. The date at the top shows the last update.
