TOY WORKSHOP
Privacy Policy
Draft date: October 19, 2026. Effective date: [PUBLICATION DATE]
1. What does this notice cover?
This policy explains how game saves are used in Toy Workshop and how contact information is processed when you write to us about the game. It is also intended for parents and legal guardians of children who play.
Toy Workshop is presented under the Sweetday brand. “We” means the data controller identified below. Apple and Google stores, accounts and backup services may process information separately under their own terms and privacy notices.
Hosting logs, cookies, forms and any measurement services on the Sweetday website are separate from this app policy. General website notice: Website privacy & cookies. Statements about in-game advertising and analytics do not automatically apply to the entire website.
2. Data controller and contact
- Data controller: Erkan Giris — the full legal name must be confirmed before publication.
- Brand: Sweetday
- App: Toy Workshop
- Email: info@sweetdaystudios.com
- Address for written requests: [DATA CONTROLLER’S ADDRESS FOR LEGAL NOTICES]
- Other official request channel, if applicable: [VERIFIED CHANNEL; REMOVE IF NOT APPLICABLE]
3. Information used while playing
Game saves on your device
Completed levels, stars, scores, repair progress and tutorial status are stored on the device so you can continue playing. Language, sound, music and vibration preferences may also be stored locally. These records allow the game to work and resume your progress.
No separate player account
The current version does not ask you to register with an email address, create a player profile or connect a social account. A child’s name, birth date, school or contact details are not required to play. This does not mean that no data is stored on the device or processed by platform services.
Platform backups
On supported iOS devices, progress may synchronise through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage when your Apple Account and iCloud settings permit it. On Android, app data may be included in the operating system’s automatic backup and restore, depending on device and account settings. Availability depends on the platform. We do not receive your Apple or Google password, and you do not create those accounts with us. There is no separate developer-operated Toy Workshop player-account server.
4. Information processed when you contact us
Support or privacy emails provide your email address, the name shown in your message, message content, sending time, correspondence history and attachments you choose to share. Device model, operating system, game version and level information you send may also form part of the request.
We use this information to answer you, investigate a technical issue, assess correction or deletion requests and, where necessary, establish, exercise or defend a legal right. Sending a support request does not consent to marketing emails or unrelated processing.
Contacting support is not required to play. Do not send a child’s photograph, school, street address, birth date or sensitive personal data. Do not send passwords or payment-card details. If unnecessary information is received, we take steps to delete or mask the part that is not needed for the request.
5. Advertising, analytics and children
The current game does not show ads or measure player behaviour using third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. There is no in-game ad targeting or cross-app advertising tracking.
Settings and external contact links are behind a parental gate. Its arithmetic question is not used to collect identity documents, birth dates or child accounts. It is not an identity-verification mechanism that establishes legal representation or valid consent.
The game is designed with ages 6–10 in mind. We ask a parent or legal guardian to send support and data requests relating to a child. If you believe we have received unnecessary personal information about a child, contact info@sweetdaystudios.com.
Apple and Google may independently process information through their stores, accounts, diagnostics or backup services. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies. The absence of an analytics SDK inside the game does not eliminate that platform processing.
6. Collection methods and legal grounds
Local game data is generated automatically as you play or change settings. Support data is received electronically through your emails and attachments. Platform backups are created under the relevant system’s settings and operation.
Where records are personal data, providing the app and essential related support may rely on necessity for entering into or performing a contract; evaluating a legal claim may rely on establishing, exercising or protecting a right; legally required processing relies on the relevant legal obligation. In Türkiye, where applicable, these correspond to Articles 5/2-c, 5/2-e and 5/2-ç of Law No. 6698. Only the appropriate ground applies to each operation.
Reading this policy or using the game is not blanket explicit consent. If a future feature requires separate consent, the relevant notice and permission process will be provided before that processing.
7. Who receives information?
Apple or Google backup services may store game progress. An email provider is used to receive and answer support messages. Authorised technical service providers or legally authorised public bodies may access information only where necessary and within the scope of the request.
- Support email provider and role: [PROVIDER NAME AND SERVICE]
- Country or region where support data is stored: [VERIFIED COUNTRY/REGION]
- Other support providers, if any: [NAME, DATA CATEGORY AND PURPOSE; REMOVE IF NONE]
Support correspondence is not shared for ad targeting and personal data is not sold. Do not assume we can access your platform account or cloud storage: we cannot necessarily view or delete those records on your behalf.
8. International transfers
Apple, Google and the email provider’s infrastructure may cause data to be processed in different countries. The provider, actual data flow and applicable rules must be assessed separately.
Recipients, countries, purposes and applicable transfer mechanism for Toy Workshop support: [COMPLETE ACCORDING TO ACTUAL DATA FLOWS; IF NO TRANSFER OCCURS, STATE THE VERIFIED POSITION].
This policy alone is not permission for an international transfer. Transfers from Türkiye are subject to the applicable conditions of Article 9 of Law No. 6698; mandatory rules of other relevant countries also apply.
9. Retention
Game saves and preferences may remain until app data is deleted from the device or removed by the operating system. Uninstalling the app may not delete synchronised or backup copies on the platform.
Platform backups depend on Apple or Google account settings and the service’s retention and deletion processes. An earlier save may return during reinstallation.
Support correspondence is retained for the period needed to resolve and follow up on the request. Normal retention period: [ACTUAL PERIOD AFTER THE REQUEST CLOSES]. Records are then deleted or anonymised. If a legal retention duty or specific dispute requires preservation, only necessary records are kept with restricted access for the relevant period. Removal from the email provider’s backups: [VERIFIED PERIOD/PROCESS].
10. Security
Protect your device and Apple/Google account with a strong password and the platform’s security options. Share only necessary details by email. Access to support records held by the developer is limited to those who need them to handle the request. Absolute security of the app or communications is not guaranteed; tell us if you suspect a security issue.
11. Rights and requests
Under applicable law, you may have rights to learn whether your data is processed; request information about processing, its purpose and use; learn who receives it; correct inaccurate or incomplete information; request deletion or destruction when the conditions are met; and have corrections or deletions communicated to recipients. You may object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis and seek compensation for harm caused by unlawful processing.
Send Toy Workshop requests to info@sweetdaystudios.com with the subject “Toy Workshop — Privacy Request”. This is an initial contact and support channel. Formal requests under Türkiye’s data-protection law follow the methods and information requirements of the law and relevant communiqué; we will direct you to the appropriate channel when needed. Proportionate verification may be requested to avoid disclosing someone else’s data.
Valid requests are answered within applicable legal time limits. Properly submitted requests under Law No. 6698 are resolved within 30 days. Your rights to contact the supervisory authority and pursue judicial remedies remain available.
If applying for a child, state that you are their legal representative. Do not include the child’s identity document or unnecessary personal information in the first message.
12. Deletion and changes
See Account & Data Deletion for local records, platform backups and support emails.
We update this notice when data practices or relevant services change. The current date appears at the top. A change requiring separate notice or permission will not be treated as authorised merely because this page has changed.
